The Learning Centre at Laser Quest

The Learning Centre is the training hub of Laser Quest. We provide interactive and engaging training programs designed for each position at the Centre. The Learning Centre (or TLC) is also home to the “Learning Library” where training and development resources are available to all members of the Centre Teams for ongoing training opportunities.
We are in the business of selling fun, one of our core values is fun, and we make training fun!

Training and Development the Laser Quest Way
“Starting a new job can cause both excitement and apprehension and that’s why we take a fresh approach to training at Laser Quest. From our part time Crew Members to our full time General Managers, our goal is to provide every member of our team with the knowledge and skills needed to do their job with complete confidence. To accomplish this goal, we use a variety of interactive methods: one-on-one training, guided practice, hands-on training and coaching. Once your initial training is complete and the job is mastered, ongoing opportunities are available to strengthen and develop your skills both personally and professionally.

Looking for ways to develop your skills? The Learning Centre provides a Library of resources to all Centre Employees for both business and personal development. Whether part of a Management meeting, one-on-one training or self-directed, The Learning Centre has resources on many topics in a variety of formats, including:
- Audio – books and professional business speakers
Promotion Training – We love to promote from within! We provide training programs for all levels of promotion with the Centre. (We customize our promotion training programs to the needs of each individual).
The General Managers’ Conference experience:
General Managers’ have an opportunity to speak in front of peers and share personal learning and successes.
Working and brainstorming together.
Area teams come together for valuable learning… and also to have fun!
Home Office experts lead interactive workshops and group discussions.
General Managers’ participate in friendly area team competitions.
At the end of the General Managers’ Conference they are celebrated and recognized for their sales achievements of the past year.
Skills Enhancement Workshops
This training is held in Mississauga, Ontario, Canada and hosted by our Home Office experts. Full-time Managers are invited to attend this five-day training event at which they complete workshops to develop their skills in a variety of areas related to the Laser Quest business.
General Managers interested in additional responsibilities and who have a passion for training may complete our Train the Trainer program. Through a combination of an external training course and Laser Quest specific training practice, General Managers have the opportunity to build training and coaching skills and travel to other Centres to train their peers!
